ISD Regional Meeting Grant

About the Grant

The International Society of Dermatology co-sponsors regional and national dermatological meetings to advance education, grow membership, and improve patient care worldwide.

Program Purpose

The Regional Meeting Committee's purpose is to support meetings that improve the health of the country or region through the education of dermatologists and to encourage meeting attendees to join the global ISD community of members.

By co-sponsoring various national and regional dermatological meetings, the ISD intends to provide scholarships to young dermatologists and trainees, encourage new ISD membership, and provide education to physicians with new knowledge and tools for patient care.

Applicants may apply for a monetary grant of up to $5,000 to help fund their meeting, or opt for a non-funded ISD Endorsement — official co-sponsorship recognition that lends international credibility to the event without a financial award.

ISD Endorsement (Non-Monetary)

Applicants may opt for official ISD co-sponsorship recognition without requesting funding. The endorsement lends international credibility to the event and is open to meetings that meet all eligibility requirements.

Website Promotion

ISD will advertise the co-sponsored meeting on the ISD website and in appropriate ISD publications, increasing visibility for your event.

Two-Installment Payment

Approved grants are paid in two installments — the first installment is made available one month prior to the meeting once all required obligations are met, and a second installment after the event upon submission of a post-event report no later than 1 month post-meeting.

ISD Co-Sponsorship

Your meeting will carry the ISD co-sponsorship designation, lending international credibility to your event and its educational programming.
